Chelsea have decided to wait until the the end of the season to conduct a review of Mauricio Pochettino’s performance in his first season, despite a section of their supporters calling for the manager sacking after a half humiliating 5-0 defeat against Arsenal on Tuesday.
Goals from Leandro Trossard and two goals each from Kai Havertz and Ben White gave the Gunners the victory over Pochettino’s side at Emirates Stadium.
The outcome of the game, leave Chelsea in 9th position in the Premier League table this season.
It also put a dent on their hopes of securing European football next season.
Before the Arsenal clash, the Blues had lost 1-0 to Manchester City in the FA Cup semi-final at Wembley Stadium.
However, according to MailOnline, Pochettino will remain in charge of Chelsea as their manager regardless of how the season unravels.
The report added that his performance will be the subject of a full review once the season is over.
