Chelsea legend, John Terry has named Arsenal legend Thierry Henry among the four toughest players he played against during his playing days as a professional footballer.
The other three players are Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney, Manchester City legend Sergio Aguero, and Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane.
Terry also revealed that Henry was the one player he ‘feared the most’.
Speaking after he was inducted into the Premier League Hall of Fame on Monday, Terry said: “To be recognised by your peers and the supporters is special. For me it is the best league in the world, so I’m very proud of what I achieved alongside my team-mates.”
On the toughest players he played against, the former England defender added, “Thierry Henry was the best I came up against, the one I feared the most.”
He continued, “Next has to be Wayne Rooney. He was a top, top player and what he achieved was incredible.
“I’d also say Sergio Aguero or Harry Kane were difficult to come up against.”
