The race for European football is set to go down to the wire, with four Premier League teams vying for spots on the last day of the season.
Manchester City, Arsenal, Liverpool, and Aston Villa have already secured their places in next season’s Champions League.
Meanwhile, Tottenham, Chelsea, Newcastle, and Manchester United are still competing for European qualification (Europa and Conference League spots on final day).
On Wednesday night, Manchester United defeated Newcastle 3-2, and Chelsea secured a 2-1 victory over Brighton.
These results have Spurs in fifth place with 63 points, Chelsea in sixth with 60 points, and both Newcastle and Manchester United tied at 57 points, sitting in seventh and eighth, respectively.
If Manchester City win the FA Cup, the fifth and sixth place teams will qualify for the Europa League, and the seventh place team will enter the Conference League.
Should Manchester United win the FA Cup, they will secure a Europa League spot, and the fifth place team will join them, with the sixth place team going to the Conference League and seventh missing out.
On the final day, Manchester United will face Brighton away, Chelsea will host Bournemouth, Spurs will travel to Sheffield United, and Newcastle will play Brentford.
