Manchester United striker, Rasmus Hojlund, will get a new shirt number for the 2024/25 season.
Hojlund wore the number 11 during his debut season at Old Trafford.
However, according to the United Stand, the Denmark international will now take the number 9 jersey, which was worn by Anthony Martial last term.
Martial left the club after his contract expired.
Hojlund will now follow in the footsteps of United legends like Sir Bobby Charlton, Andy Cole, Dimitar Berbatov and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who have all worn the number 9 shirt.
With Hojlund getting a new number, the latest signing Joshua Zirkzee is expected to inherit the number 11 shirt. He had previously worn numbers 9, 10 and 11 while playing for Dutch youth teams.
