EPL: My responsibility – Tottenham coach, Postecoglou on beating Man City for Arsenal to win title

Tottenham Hotspur manager, Ange Postecoglou, is resolute in his determination as his team gears up to face Manchester City, despite the potential consequences of a victory for their rivals, Arsenal.

Ahead of their crucial clash against the reigning champions, Postecoglou emphasized his commitment to fighting for his club’s success, refusing to concede even in the face of daunting odds.

“My responsibility is to fight tooth and nail every single day for this football club. I won’t shy away from any challenge, no matter how daunting, because that’s what I owe to this team and its supporters,” Postecoglou told reporters.

While acknowledging the possibility that a win for Spurs could benefit Arsenal’s title aspirations, Postecoglou remained steadfast in his resolve, emphasizing the importance of finishing the season on a strong note.

“We’re aiming to finish the season with a flourish, striving to secure victories in our remaining matches. Every game counts, and we’re not backing down,” he declared, expressing his desire for Spurs to triumph in their upcoming fixtures.

“I’m here fighting tooth and nail every single day for everything I can get for this football club because that’s my responsibility.

“I would not give up on any cause even the most lost of causes because then I’d be abstaining from my responsibilities.

“I want us to finish the season strong. I want us to try and win three games of football and see where that takes us.”
