Names of about top five candidates that could replace manager Erik ten Hag at Manchester United has been revealed.
Despite Man United reaching their second successive FA Cup final under Ten Hag, the pressure is only mounting on the under-fire 54-year-old.
With Man United’s co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS set to review Ten Hag’s position at the end of the season, the Dutchman will undoubtedly face an uphill battle to convince the Red Devils that he is the man to front the club’s latest rebuild.
But should the Old Trafford hierarchy seek to look elsewhere in the summer, here are five candidates who could take over from Ten Hag.
As reported by Metro UK on Monday, the names of the candidates are Gareth Southgate, Thomas Tuchel, Zinedine Zidane, Roberto De Zerbi and Graham Potter.
Southgate is the current manager of the Three Lions of England, while Potter has been patiently waiting on the sidelines and plotting his next move since his sacking by Chelsea last year.
De Zerbi is the current manager of Brighton, while Tuchel will leave Bayern Munich at the end of the season.
Finally, Zidane is currently without a club since he left Real Madrid few years ago.
