Chelsea boss, Enzo Maresca, has made it clear that some players in the squad have to leave this summer transfer window.
With twelve days left in the transfer window, Maresca is looking to trim down his large squad.
The Italian also fuelled speculation Raheem Sterling could be among those to depart, after dropping the winger against Manchester City.
Following the decision, Sterling’s representatives issued a statement demanding “clarity” on his future.
Ben Chilwell, Trevoh Chalobah, Armando Broja and Carney Chukwuemeka were also excluded from the match-day squad.
Maresca told reporters: “I want all 30 players, but there is no space for all of them so some have to leave.”
