EPL: Romano names manager in advance talk to become Chelsea’s next manager after Pochettino’s exit

Football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano has said that Chelsea are in advance talks to appoint Enzo Maresca as their new manager.

Romano made this known in a tweet via his X account on Monday.

Chelsea are currently without an head coach after Mauricio Pochettino’s recent departure.

The Premier League west London club are expected to appoint a new manager in the coming days.

Different managers including Maresca has been linked with the Chelsea job.

“Chelsea are advancing in talks to appoint Enzo Maresca as new head coach,” Romano tweeted.

“Positive talks over the weekend, he’s 100% keen and excited by #CFC project.

“No issues on Maresca’s contract already being discussed — talks to follow with Leicester City over €10m compensation fee.”
