Manchester United legend, Wayne Rooney has called on the Red Devils players to show their worth.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Rooney said he wants Erik ten Hag’s side to show they deserve to play for Man United.
The former England international feels Man United’s current season is worse than their 2013-14 season, when they finished seventh under manager David Moyes.
Rooney said: “We finished 7th under Moyes, but it never felt as bad as it is now.
He added: “Everyone is fighting for their future, the whole club is. As a player, you need to show your worth, show you deserve to play for this football club.
“You can’t just turn it on in a FA Cup final. It has to start today.”
