Chelsea on Wednesday moved to 6th position on the Premier League table after beating Brighton 2-1 in an away clash.
Cole Palmer and Christopher Nkunku scored the goals for the Blues against the host.
The victory means, Mauricio Pochettino’s side are now in 6th position ahead of Newcastle and Man United with just one game left.
Meanwhile, in the other Premier League tie played on Wednesday night, Man United defeated Newcastle United 3-2 at Old Trafford.
Kobbie Mainoo, Amad Diallo and Rasmus Højlund scored the goals for Erik ten Hag’s side.
The Red Devils currently sit in 8th position behind Newcastle (7th position).
