Manchester United boss, Erik ten Hag, has explained why his team played 1-1 against Burnley in the Premier League on Saturday.
Ten Hag’s side struggled to break Burnley down at Old Trafford.
Antony gave Man United the lead in the 79th minute.
However, the visitors earned a point after Andre Onana gave away a penalty and Zeki Amdouni equalized from the spot.
Speaking to BBC Match of the Day after the game, Ten Hag said Man United were in a winning position and we gave it away.
“We put ourselves in a winning position and over long courses of the game we dominated.
“Only the second part of the first half where we conceded some chances, but the rest of the game was ours.
“We were in a winning position and we gave it away,” Ten Hag said.
