In a conversation with Betway, former Arsenal stalwart David Seaman shared his anticipation for the impending clash between Mikel Arteta’s squad and Manchester United, slated for this Sunday.
Expressing his desire for his ex-club to secure a victory, Seaman highlighted the importance of seizing all three points to maintain Arsenal’s standing as the current league leaders.
With 83 points from 36 games, they are narrowly ahead of Manchester City by just one point, who possess a game in hand.
To harbor hopes of clinching the Premier League title, the Gunners must emerge victorious in both of their remaining matches.
Their upcoming fixtures include facing Manchester United at Old Trafford this weekend, followed by Everton at the Emirates on the final day of the season.
Offering a prediction, Seaman asserted that any win would suffice, even envisioning a high-scoring affair like a hypothetical 10-9 outcome.
He pinpointed the pivotal battle between Manchester United’s defense and Arsenal’s attacking prowess as the decisive factor, highlighting the goal-scoring potential of players like Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus.
“If you want me to do a prediction, I’d take any win, even 10-9. The game’s going to be won or lost with United’s defence against Arsenal’s attack… Whoever plays, whether it’s [Kai] Havertz or even [Gabriel] Jesus, there’s goals there,” Seaman said.
