Tottenham Hotspur forward, Son Heung-min has finally explained why he missed big chance against Manchester City in the Premier League earlier this week.
Son had an opportunity to equalize late in the game but struck the ball directly at Stefano Ortega.
He has now expressed regret over the miss, which might prove pivotal in the title race.
The result was equally damaging for Spurs, as it dashed their hopes for Champions League qualification after suffering a fifth defeat in six games.
“I’m also human. The keeper made a really good decision and made himself really big.
“But I take the responsibility not to score that big chance for the team, because the team was working really hard and trying to get a good result,” Son told the Evening Standard.
