EPL: Two things I want to do for Chelsea – New manager, Maresca

Newly appointed Chelsea manager, Enzo Maresca has said that he want to continue the Blues’ tradition of success and make the club’s fans proud.

Maresca stated this shortly after he was officially announced as the Chelsea’s new manager on Monday.

The Italian replaced Mauricio Pochettino, who was sacked last month.

Maresca signed a five-year contract and will start his new role on 1 July 2024.

“To join Chelsea, one of the biggest clubs in the world, is a dream for any coach. It is why I am so excited by this opportunity,” Maresca said.

“I look forward to working with a very talented group of players and staff to develop a team that continues the club’s tradition of success and makes our fans proud.”
