EPL: Why Arsenal beat Man United at Old Trafford – Ten Hag

Manchester United head coach, Erik ten Hag, has explained why his team were defeated 1-0 against Arsenal in the Premier League on Sunday.

Ten Hag blamed injuries and a loss of concentration for their defeat to Arsenal at Old Trafford.

Leandro Trossard scored the only goal of the game to send Mikel Arteta’s side to the top of the Premier League table.

Ten Hag, who was without captain Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford for the game, said at his post-match interview: “Today we did. When you’re missing seven starting players, we are competitive with one of the best teams in the league.

“It’s about execution, when you don’t have the right attitude, when you don’t have the right press, it makes it easy for any opponent.

“That situation is a midfielder making a small mistake, that has hard consequences.”
