Arsenal legend, Tony Adams has blamed the Gunners for selling World Cup winner, Emi Martinez.
The Argentina International has risen to become one of the best goalkeepers in the World.
He helped his country to win the 2022 World Cup and Copa America.
Martinez was also instrumental as Aston Villa claimed the UEFA Conference League trophy 2 years ago.
Adams said Arsenal made a mistake selling the Argentine shot-stopper in 2020.
Arsenal have gone from strength to strength since Martinez moved to Villa, becoming one of the best teams in England.
Adams, however, believes that Mikel Arteta’s side made one mistake.
He told Sky Sports, “I liked Martinez to be honest with you. I thought he was a perfectly great goalkeeper, but Arteta isn’t afraid to make a decision.”
“In terms of this season, David Raya was the goalkeeper, we expect Arsenal to make that deal permanent, what do you make of that?”
