Belgium captain, Kevin De Bruyne has suggested he is not ready to retiring from international football after the Euro 2024 in Germany.
The Manchester City midfielder said he has not decided if he would retire from Belgium’s national team any time soon.
According to him, he has been playing for Belgium for ten years.
“I haven’t really thought about whether this is the end of my international career,” De Bruyne told the media (via Mirror).
“I don’t like thinking about when I’m retiring or my future. I have not decided when I’m going to finish.”
He added, “I have been playing in this team for 10 years and I have a lot of knowledge to pass on to the younger players but honestly, I have not decided when I’m going to finish.”
De Bruyne has so far played a key role to help Belgium secured four points from two games at the Euro 2024.
Belgium will face Ukraine in their last group game on Wednesday.
