Chelsea manager, Mauricio Pochettino, has explained why Manchester City defeated his team 1-0 in the FA Cup semi-final clash on Saturday.
According to Pochettino, his team were not clinical in front of goal against Pep Guardiola’s side at Wembley Stadium.
TOTAL SPORTS reports that Chelsea dominated most of the game, but failed to convert their chances against the Cityzens.
Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson was the main culprit, as the Senegal international missed some good opportunities to score for the west London club.
It was Bernardo Silva who scored the only goal of the encounter.
Speaking on BBC One after the game, Pochettino said: “It is so easy to explain. We conceded in a moment you should not concede. We were not capable of being clinical in front of goal, we had many chances but we did not score.
“I think in the game we were a little bit better and deserved more, but it is not about deserving it, it is about being clinical and we were not today.”
