FIFA ranking: Nigeria drop one place as Spain, Argentina, France top list

The Super Eagles of Nigeria have dropped one place in the latest FIFA world rankings.


The Super Eagles are now the 39th best team in the July ranking published by FIFA on Thursday.


However, Nigeria are currently the 5th best team in Africa.

Morocco are number one in Africa and the 14th best team in the world.


Behind Morocco are Senegal, Egypt, Ivory Coast and Nigeria.


Meanwhile, Argentina is the number one best team in the world, followed by France, Spain, England, Brazil, Belgium, Netherlands, Portugal, Colombia and Italy, making the top 10.


Others that made the list from 11-20 positions are Uruguay, Croatia, Germany, Morocco, Switzerland, USA, Mexico, Japan, Senegal and Iran.

The next edition of the next FIFA Ranking will be published in September.
