Gareth Southgate has resigned as manager of the England national team.
This comes after he failed to win the Euro 2024 in Germany on Sunday.
England had lost 2-1 against Spain in the final.
“As proud Englishman, it has been the honour of my life to play for England and to manage England,” Southgate said on Tuesday after announcing his decision to quit the team.
“It has meant everything to me, and I have given it my all.
“But it’s time for change, and for a new chapter. I’m leaving my role.”
