Barcelona are at the moment not able to register nine first-team players because of an ongoing financial crisis, The Athletic reports.
The Catalan club must raise around €130million by the end of June [this month] or they won’t be able to register further new players.
The Blaugrana are now seeking new investment and want to restructure their deal with Nike.
Currently, Barca are unable to register Inigo Martinez or Vitor Roque, because of the way the duo were registered last season.
Also, the contracts for Pau Cubarsi, Alejandro Balde, Hector Fort and Lamine Yamal have not been registered with LaLiga.
Marcos Alonso and Sergi Roberto are out of contract soon.
As for Gavi, there remains uncertainty over the contract agreement between the club and the player.
