Barcelona boss, Xavi Hernandez, has insisted that his team was better than Real Madrid and Girona in the LaLiga this season.
Xavi’s men lost 4-2 to Girona on Saturday, handing Real Madrid the 36th LaLiga title in their history.
The result means Barcelona lost both league fixtures against Girona and Madrid.
However, Xavi feels the results did not reflect the balance of play in those matches.
“In the four games against the two teams above us, Madrid and Girona, we have been superior.
“But it is not reflected in the scoreline and we have lost all four, so we have to improve a lot,” Xavi said at his post-match interview.
