Man Utd to play Man City in Community Shield

Manchester United and Manchester City will play each other again in the Community Shield in August.

The two rivals faced each other in Saturday’s FA Cup final, with the Red Devils winning 2-1 at Wembley Stadium.

Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo gave United a two-goal lead in the first half.

However, Jeremy Doku pulled one back late in the game.

The win ensured Man United manager Erik ten Hag finished the season with silverware.

United will now play City who won the Premier League for the 2024/2025 curtain-raiser.
