  1. Arsenal moved back to the top of the Premier League with a 1-0 win over Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday, taking the title race to the final day. Leandro Trossard’s early goal from Kai Havertz’s right-wing cross gave the Gunners all three points against Erik ten Hag’s side.
  2. Pakistan bounced back from Friday’s shock defeat by Ireland by easing to a seven-wicket win in the second T20 at Clontarf on Sunday. Lorcan Tucker (51) and Harry Tector (32) put on 62 for the third wicket to help Ireland to 193-7 from their 20 overs.
  3. The Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, will unveil the new Super Eagles head coach, Finidi George on Monday. Finidi, who was appointed Jose Peseiro’s successor two weeks ago,
    will be unveiled at a media briefing in Abuja.
  4. Manchester United won their first Women’s FA Cup trophy in style as they comfortably beat first-time finalists Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley Stadium on Sunday. England international Ella Toone scored a stunning goal on the stroke of half-time and Spurs never recovered, with Rachel Williams and Lucia Garcia extending United’s lead.
  5. Bayer Leverkusen thrashed 10-man Bochum to notch up a half-century of unbeaten matches in all competitions.
    Patrik Schick’s crisp strike put Leverkusen ahead and Victor Boniface increased their lead from the penalty spot, before Amine Adli, Josip Stanisic and Alex Grimaldo completed the rout.
