The Tottenham Hotspur striker scored two either side of half-time in Scotland’s second meeting with Israel in four days behind closed doors as Pedro Martinez Losa’s side secured a play-off spot.
  3. Carlos Alcaraz made light work of Stefanos Tsitsipas to set up a tantalising French Open semi-final against incoming world number one Jannik Sinner. Spanish third seed Alcaraz, 21, won 6-3 7-6 (7-3) 6-4 against Greek ninth seed Tsitsipas on the Roland Garros clay.
  4. Manchester City are taking legal action against the Premier League, The Times has exclusively revealed. The newspaper reports City are attempting to end the Premier League’s Associated Party Transaction (ATP) rules.
  5. England boosted their hopes of automatic qualification for Euro 2025 with a 2-1 victory over France in Saint-Etienne. Sarina Wiegman’s side dropped out of the automatic qualification spots in their group after France came from behind to beat the Lionesses 2-1 at St James’ Park on Friday.
