Former Nigeria international, Vincent Enyeama, has given two reasons why he didn’t apply to be Super Eagles’ next head coach.
Since Jose Peseiro’s departure, several former Nigerian players have been linked with the Super Eagles job.
However, Enyeama has now disclosed that he didn’t applied for the Super Eagles job because he had not secured his coaching certificate and also he has been busy with his hotel business.
The former Lille goalkeeper told Afrik-Foot: “For you to be able to coach the Super Eagles, you must be certified. That’s the minimum standard.
“That is the number one reason, and then for the fact that I have been very busy developing and managing my hotel has taken a lot of my attention, and that business is the most important thing for me now.”
Enyeama was exceptional for the Super Eagles during his playing days.
