Arsenal is perceived by their rivals to be “in pole position” to secure the signing of RB Leipzig’s striker Benjamin Sesko, according to the UK Telegraph.
Sesko joined Leipzig from Red Bull Salzburg for €24 million last summer.
The 20-year-old has netted 17 goals since his arrival to the German club.
While Manchester United has shown interest—evidenced by Sesko’s agent attending their recent match against Arsenal—the Gunners’ interest appears to be stronger.
Chelsea is also eyeing Sesko as they look to bolster their attacking options in the upcoming transfer window.
