Premier League clubs, Arsenal and Liverpool have made early moves to sign Real Madrid defender Ferland Mendy.
According to L’Equipe, Real Madrid are willing to let Mendy leave this summer as they look to secure the signing of Bayern Munich’s Alphonso Davies.
Mendy has only a year left on his deal with the Spanish giants and a host of Premier League clubs are aware of his availability.
Arsenal and Liverpool have reportedly contacted Mendy’s representatives to express early interest.
The left-back joined Real from Lyon in 2019 for a fee of £42mllion.
He has made 112 appearances for the club, scoring four goals for the Los Blancos.
