Arsenal have suffered a blow in their bid to sign Bologna defender, Riccardo Calafiori.
Recall that Arsenal had already agreed terms with Calafiori.
Mikel Arteta’s side offered Calafiori a five-year contract, which is valid until June 2029.
However, the Mirror reports that Calafiori’s move to the Gunners is on hold and under threat.
Bologna and Basel are in a stand-off over the Calafiori’s sell-on-fee.
The Serie A side are threatening to pull the plug on the deal.
