Transfer: Fenerbahce to sign Man Utd forward for Mourinho

Fenerbahce are considering a bid for Manchester United forward Mason Greenwood, but the England star is hesitant about working with manager Jose Mourinho.

Greenwood recently concluded a loan spell with Spanish LaLiga side Getafe.

Now, Man United must make a decision regarding the player’s future at Old Trafford.

Since his arrest in January 2022 on charges of attempted rape, controlling behavior and assault, Greenwood has not featured for United.

Although all charges were dropped in February and plans to reintegrate him into the Red Devils’ squad were met with significant public backlash.

Man United are reportedly open to selling Greenwood this summer, with multiple clubs from Europe including Fenerbahce and Premier League clubs showing interest.

However, according to The Sun, Fenerbahce is among the teams eager to sign the 22-year-old in a bid to strengthen Mourinho’s squad for the upcoming season.

But Greenwood reportedly has reservations about playing under Mourinho.
