Transfer: Guardiola to block Man City player from accepting £900,000-a-week contract to leave

Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, is looking to keep goalkeeper Ederson ahead of next season and the Cityzens will make a last-ditch effort to stop him from leaving this summer.

Man City are set to offer a final contract extension to Ederson, in a bid to convince him against moving to the Saudi Pro League (SPL).

According to The Sun, the Premier League champions will put a “take it or leave it” offer on the table for Ederson.

However, Guardiola’s side will not stop the Brazilian if he decides to sign for Al-Nassr.

Al-Nassr are believed to have offered Ederson a stunning £900,000-a-week deal in addition to a hefty sign-on fee.

Although Man City will not be able to match Al-Nassr’s offer, they are set to offer a long-term deal with a 75 percent increase on his existing wages.
