French football expert and agent, Oscar Damiani, is convinced that Victor Osimhen’s summer transfer options could be restricted to only one club: Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).
Damiani revealed that PSG are one of the top clubs with the financial muscles to sign Victor Osimhen after an impressive debut season in Serie A.
The Nigerian international, who is currently playing for Italian club Napoli, has been linked with the likes of Chelsea and Arsenal.
Even though Chelsea is rumoured to show interest in Osimhen, Damiani thinks the Blues might not be able to afford the Nigerian due to Premier League Financial Fair Play regulations unless they sell some players soon.
PSG, however, has been a clear frontrunner on the matter, primarily due to their relationship with Napoli and Osimhen’s time at Lille with their transfer guru Luís Campos.
At the same time, Damiani acknowledged that Osimhen’s release clause of 130 million euros could prove to be a massive stumbling block.
“Osimhen, however, is irreplaceable: only play can give something more to the team, but individually you can’t find anyone else like him,” Oscar Damiani told Radio Punto Nuovo.
“I don’t know now if Osimhen will be Mbappé’s heir, the PSG managers didn’t tell me anything.
“However, there aren’t many teams that can afford him, so it’s clear that Paris is among the few candidates that they would have the ability to purchase him.”
