Football transfer market expert, Rudy Galetti has identified two Chelsea players who might be used as leverage in a potential deal to acquire Victor Osimhen from Napoli.
According to Galetti, Cesare Casadei and David Fofana could be offered to Napoli as part of the negotiation to bring Osimhen to Stamford Bridge this summer.
Casadei, who joined Chelsea in the summer of 2022, has struggled for game time, making only 10 appearances under Mauricio Pochettino.
He has been on loan to Championship side Reading and Leicester City but was recalled in January.
Fofana, on the other hand, is currently on loan at Burnley, with his future at Chelsea uncertain.
“As for the transfer chapter, Chelsea want Victor Osimhen, who will leave Napoli at the end of the season, more and more,” he told AreaNapoli via Sport Witness.
“The Blues want to negotiate the terms of the release clause and it cannot be ruled out that the English club will try to include players such as Casadei or David Fofana in the negotiation to lower the price, although Napoli are not open to negotiating the price and are only asking for cash.
“With Victor a personal agreement is not so far away and the parties will continue talking in the coming.”
