Transfer: Zlatan Ibrahimovic bans ex-EPL striker from AC Milan dressing room

Senior advisor at AC Milan, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, has banished striker Divock Origi from the team’s dressing room.

Origi has been demoted to the youth team after being told he is no longer part of the club’s plans.

AC Milan finished a distant second behind Serie A rivals Inter Milan last season and Ibrahimovic is already preparing for next season.

Ibramovic has now decided Origi, who spent last season on loan at Nottingham Forest, doesn’t feature in those plans.

The 29-year-old star signed a four-year contract after joining Milan on a free transfer from Liverpool in 2022.

However, according to a report from football transfer Fabrizio Romano, Ibrahimovic has said: “Divock Origi and Fode Ballo-Toure are not part of our plans.

“They will be part of the youth team as they’re not included in our project.”
