UEFA on Friday published their latest club rankings.
The Europe football governing body places Manchester City at number one position, despite their failure to win back-to-back Champions League titles last season.
Real Madrid, who won the Champions League last season, are in second position.
Bayern Munich are placed in third, despite not winning the Bundesliga title.
The UEFA club coefficients are calculated based on a team’s performances in European competitions from the previous five seasons.
